CMIN 204 - Fundamentals of Information Technology and Systems


This is one of the classes I am currently enrolled in and thank goodness, this semester is almost over! This is also one of seven IT classes that Mr. Beard teaches for the Computer Information Technology program. It is a very thorough program with several different paths you can take so, if you find yourself in New Orleans and wanting to go to school, Delgado just might be a good choice.


Here is a breakdown of this particular class.

This course provides the necessary foundation for understanding Computer Information Technology and Systems. Coverage of the fundamentals of information system and information technology concepts, strategies, and skills; these will include: programming logic and coding, database design and development, web design and website development, communication and networking, IT support, large systems design, and information system project management.

Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENGL 101
